Skyfriend is an early-preview AI service operated by Very Important Computing, LLC. These terms apply to using Skyfriend and its optional SMS program.

Your personal AI friend
Skyfriend can help you think through everyday questions, draft ideas, and make small plans. Replies are generated by AI and can be incomplete or incorrect. Use your judgment and check important information before relying on it.
Skyfriend is not a professional adviser, an emergency service, or a service monitored for urgent requests. Do not rely on it for emergency assistance. Keep your account and connection codes private, and use only a phone number you control.
Skyfriend SMS Terms
The Skyfriend SMS program provides automated account-link confirmations and conversational AI replies to messages you send. It is optional. We do not send promotional texts or proactive check-ins through this program.
To enroll when texting is available for your account, sign in, open Text your friend, read the texting disclosure, check the consent box, and choose Connect my phone. Then send the unique LINK message shown in the app from the phone you want to connect. Sending that message confirms your consent to receive Skyfriend texts at that number.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can use Skyfriend on the web without enrolling in SMS. Texting is currently a private pilot pending messaging registration and activation.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies with your activity. You receive connection confirmations and replies to your messages, subject to the preview’s message allowance. Web and SMS share that allowance.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s charges are your responsibility. Availability and delivery depend on your carrier and service conditions. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Stop, resume, or ask for help
Text STOP to your friend’s number to cancel SMS replies. You may receive an opt-out confirmation. Text START to resume after opting out. You can also disconnect your phone in the app.
Text HELP for assistance, or contact vicc@veryimportantcomputing.com. Opting out of texting does not close your Skyfriend account or prevent you from chatting on the web.
Privacy and the preview
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process your account information, messages, memories, and phone details. The service is in early preview: features, availability, and message limits may change, and uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.
